As the digital revolution rages, both the local and national governments keep Lasameños in-step with doing things electronic, by providing facilities that harness digital conveniences in the delivery of various services.
ACCESS Command Center. Already in operation for the last two years, CCTV cameras are in-placed at strategic spots for local authorities to keep a virtual eye on busy or high-traffic areas, Lasam entry and exit points. The Natalged ACCESS is also a facility crucial for effective disaster management and rescue efforts of the MDRRMC.
Project Lasam HD. This electronic database system that LGU-Lasam has invested in enables keeping track of and managing data on Lasameño households. It also provides information on other important objects or subjects, as necessitated by and for the Municipal Planning and Development Office, even for disaster management, rescue, or rehabilitation efforts.
eBPLO, Palengke QR Plus. Registration and annual renewal of business enterprises is now a breeze, digitally via the eBPLO app. Next, buyers at the Lasam Public Market would just need to scan a Quick Response or QR code with their Smartphones to pay for goods. This is so with the use of e-money becoming more popular.
eGOVph app. All digital-savvy Lasameños should download and install the user-friendly eGOVph app on their smart devices for convenience in availing and getting updated on government services.
Learning Commons. This is the new order for a library of both digital and physical books. As a haven for knowledge acquisition, F2F collaboration, and other creative pursuits, the Natalged Learning Commons (in the offing) is an essential component of Project DEKSS: Developing and Empowering Knowledge and Skills Seekers.
Work is underway for a revitalized LGU website www.lasam.gov.ph, also turning it to become more service-oriented, rather than just a repository of information about the Municipality of Lasam.
LGU Lasam, Other Official LGU FBs. Now with 31,000 followers, the Official Lasam Facebook page, being maintained by the LGU, is the go-to source for information on public affairs and events of the Municipality, as well as the various services provided by the local government.
These officially-recognized FB pages also provide information specific to their respective functions:
Agri Lasam for important announcements on services concerning the greater segment of our agricultural municipality;
Lasam Tourism for all the information on local tourism, attractions, and events;
MDRRMO Lasam Official for timely disaster and rescue related information dispatches or warnings;
Office of the Vice Mayor-LGU Lasam the chronicler of the Vice Mayor's public affairs or events, likewise all legislative developments like imposition of local ordinances (as below); and
Salun-at ti Umili Lasam for all the important information and updates on the services of the Municipal Health Office or Rural Health Unit.
The mostly agricultural Municipality of Lasam, granted first economic class status this 2025, marches on digitally, in step with the changing times.#
