With revenge travel a current buzzword, the town of Natalged a Lasam does its share in intensifying tourism efforts.
For the adveturous set, the Lasam Tourism Office can organize medium to extreme expeditions to our waterfalls on summer months. Adrenaline junkies may also try white-water rafting along the Zinundungan River.
When visiting for cultural or culinary curiosities, come around the harvest months between April and June. The traditional barangay fundraisers are organized and bario queens would be crowned after a successive weekends of dancing to paid “Sweet music, please?”
The town celebrates the Feast of San Isidro Labrador, its patron saint, towards the end of May.
Festivities in our municipality would peak at the Aldaw ti Lasam every June 13th.
The long celebration of Christmas is also true in Lasam. If not as early as September or October, residents would start adorning their homes with Christmas trimmings the day after Halloween.
With oft-meme’ed “Whenever I see boys and girls…” on playlists, the general atmosphere in Lasam during “ber months” up to January is festive and fun

As a balikbayan or an OFW returnee you will have a more memorable homecoming if you will consider the climate and schedule of the festivities in Lasam, apart from career or family circumstances.
Temperature rises beginning March and peaks in May when weekend nights would be blaring with “Daytoy nga sonata…” from the traditional barangay “salunan.”
Towards December, temperature will cool down and you would be busy with invitations for family reunions and gatherings with hometown friends between Christmas and New Year.
