The spotlight shone brightly on Lasam as it crowned its newest male ambassador of charm, character, and community pride during the Ginoong Lasam 2025 Coronation Night held at the Natalged a Lasam Arena, in celebration of the town's 75th Founding Anniversary and the 10th year of the Tinupig Festival this 2025.

A total of 15 candidates from different barangays competed in the prestigious male pageant. The event featured various segments such as production attire, swimwear, modern barong tagalog, and the much-awaited Q&A round.

Mayor Dante Dexter Agatep Jr., in his opening message, praised the contestants and their families for embodying the spirit of modern-day Lasameños.

At the end of an exciting and inspiring evening, a registered Agricultural Biosystems Engineer and currently a university instructor, Jayson D. Gervacio of Barangay Centro 02, was named Ginoong Lasam 2025, impressing judges and the audience with his charisma, eloquence, and commitment to local heritage and social responsibility.

It is the first time that LGU-Lasam, through the initiative of Municipal Tourism Officer Elmer A. Acierto, is staging the male beauty tilt. It serves as another platform for championing the ideals of progressive young Lasameños.

Among the members of the panel of judges is Bb. Lasam 2018 Christleiyan Siddayao who now works as a flight attendant.

The long-running female counterpart, the erstwhile Miss Lasam recently rebranded as Bb. Lasam, will crown its new queens on the night of June 13, as a highlight of the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Aldaw ti Lasam.
