Hon. Dannah Paula T. Agatep

Municipal Vice Mayor

Dannah Paula T. Agatep was born on March 26, 2001 at Lasam, Cagayan. She is the first born daughter of Mr. Dante Dexter A. Agatep Jr. and Mrs. Rosalia T. Agatep. Dannah was born and raised in a family where the values of respect, humility, and integrity are nurtured within. At her young age, she already developed her skills in the field of commerce. Her constant engagement in the business paved a way for her to have a profound perspective of the broader world she is living in, where her wisdom and passion for public service are greatly rooted in.

Dannah started her academic journey at San Lorenzo Ruiz Educational Institute, where she finished elementary in 2013. Her Junior High School years were established at Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades and finish in the year 2017. She further developed her potential and abilities in her Senior High School years at the University of Santo Tomas – Senior High School, where she completed her secondary school in 2019. Dannah continued to be in the Thomasian bloodline as she pursued her tertiary level education at the University of Santo Tomas. She is a holder of the degree Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting and just recently graduated last May 2024. Her leadership skills were early enhanced in her college years as she was an active member of the UST-College of Accountancy Commission on Elections Committee as an Associate Operations Officer.

Her dedication to serve has led her to be part of the Local Government Unit of Lasam to work as the Executive Assistant. She mainly takes part in the business planning for livelihood programs of the LGU such as the Lasam Cacao Growers’ Association.

As an active member of the youth sector, she is deeply involved in sports and youth development programs of the Local Youth Development Office and of the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation. In a few number of months that she worked in the office, she already established a various of programs for the youth such as Basketball and Volleyball Tournaments, 4H Club for Out-of-School Youths, Symposium on issues concerning the youth, and Leadership Seminars for SK Officials.

Moreover, she also possesses commitment on social services as a dedicated part of the Municipal Social Services Team where they address concerns on the welfare of children, family, women, and marginalized sectors. Indeed, Dannah is in the right tract of making lasting impact and contributions to the lives of many Lasameños.

As a young leader and public servant, Dannah is deeply committed to creating meaningful change and empowering communities and the youth to reach their fullest potential. Guided by the principles of integrity, compassion, and innovation, she believes that her role in our municipality today is not just a career but a calling to uplift lives and build a brighter, more inclusive future. With a heart for service and a vision for progress, Dannah continues to inspire others to take part in shaping Lasam as a home deserved by the people.
